Meet Huma Tahir
Huma Tahir is a Canadian settlement expert and the Founder & CEO of Newcomer Connect. For more than 25 years, she has worked directly with newcomer families, helping them navigate immigration, community integration, and long-term stability in Canada.
As an immigrant herself, Huma understands the emotional and practical realities of starting over in a new country. Her leadership combines empathy with structure—ensuring each client receives clear guidance, realistic planning, and ethical support at every step.
What began as a mission to reduce confusion for new arrivals has grown into a trusted support system serving clients worldwide with virtual guidance and on-ground support in the GTA and Islamabad.
